At the Arbor Day Foundation, we know that trees are part of the solution to some of the biggest challenges facing our planet today.

As the world’s largest member-nonprofit dedicated to planting trees, we are proud to work with trusted partners like WeForest to help us plant in areas of greatest need. While we support planting projects all over the world, our reforestation work is focused on priority regions where trees are critically needed, including the Atlantic Rainforest. Our collaboration with WeForest ensures trees are planted at scale in forests along the Tietê river in Brazil.

Since our founding in 1972, we’ve worked with our partners to plant more than 500 million trees in neighborhoods, communities, cities, and forests throughout the world. Our vision is to lead toward a world where trees are used to solve issues critical to survival.
