At SkyCell, we aim to provide safe, secure, and sustainable pharmaceutical supply chains for temperature-sensitive, life-saving medicines. We are committed to reducing our emissions and achieving net-zero emissions by 2040 through the implementation of innovative technologies and the continuous improvement of our container solutions and logistics practices. However, we also recognize the significance of afforestation and forest conservation initiatives in mitigating the adverse effects of climate change and enhancing biodiversity.
Since 2021, we have partnered with WeForest and actively contribute to their forest restoration projects. Sustainability has always been an integral part of SkyCell. Although a significant portion of our emissions stems from transporting our hybrid containers, their ground-breaking design minimizes CO2 emissions per shipment. Nonetheless, we aspire to do more. Consequently, we have partnered with WeForest to nurture wildlife corridors in Brazil and reconnect protected areas to conserve biodiversity, helping protect the forests that capture carbon.
